I love to get outside right after a storm to see the impacts on our environment. At the Mianus that often looks like a full swamp and washed out trails, while at the beach it can mean many different changes.
I took these pictures at Tod's Point after last Wednesday's rain and coastal floods....so much flooding, in fact, that Tod's Point was closed that day. Sand was still being plowed out of the parking lots and there was plenty of caution tape.
